Communication is about connection
Everyone has something to say and everyone deserves to have a voice! I work with your child's strengths and interests to help them connect with you, communicate, and learn. All children want to communicate - we just have to meet them where they are.
I have 12 years experience diagnosing and treating speech and language issues in children. If your child is struggling to pronounce certain sounds, if their language seems "young" compared to other children their age, if they struggle to hold a short conversation, or even if they aren't speaking at all - speech therapy can make a big difference in a child's life.
One of my specialties is AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). I take an "Access First" approach, which means I believe in giving kids access to AAC as soon as we suspect they might need it. I'm also a member of Therapist Neurodiversity Collective - a professional organization working to promote the voices of autistic and other neurodivergent people in clinical practice. Call or text if you have any questions.
